Soldering is a pain for me too . Steps are:

1-Cut the board in the right size
2-Cut photo paper with the same size of the board and put it faced with the copper board (fit using tape) !!
3-Make toner transfer with ironwork(pay attention to temperature and pressure applied )
3-prepare ferric chloride to corrosion
4-Remove toner from lines
5-Use tools to drill
6-Solder compounds parts

Attached a zip file with printed .pdf(double side copper) multiple in the same sheet (pay attention about printer configs before print , if not images can be smaller , keep real size, use laser print )

Some help:

instead of drilling like in video i have done using this tool:

After 3 times trying, failing , improving toner transfer , now it is easier for me .

it's just as cheap to have a double side pcb made.

If you are using the auto route function once the auto layout is done you have to have auto route EVALUATE the traces. If it doesn't find any problems then it will highlight the last component you were placing.

If it finds a problem it will bring up a list of them.
