I will ask for a password when the Navi works and when I plug in a USB stick. Since the keyboard is not available, so I can not use USB.

did anyone experience LONG startup times ? ... sometimes the CarPC goes through the whole startup video .. then black screen... but sometimes it starts correctly and starts only after a few seconds of the startup video

If the black screen shows I then have to cut the power to it, start it again and then it starts normally. I am guessing it is either trying to connect to a WiFi without any success or it is scanning its own files for problems.

I cannot see this since there is quiet startup enabled and video playing.

We (respectively Andrei and hawkeyexp) are currently working on a new version of the CarPi. Therefore, we will not spend so much time in the current version and i have no idea what exactly your problem is or how to fix it.
