So I've got an si4703 board that I have wired up with two encoders.

When my CarPC program boots into the Kodi interface and I press the Radio section, I have no frequency displayed on the screen, and there is sound.

If I exit Kodi via changing appearance back to Confluence, pressing Exit, using startX again (which launches Kodi a second time), and then exiting Kodi, I see Navit running in the desktop GUI.

At this point, the FM kicks in and starts playing through the sound output.

Is there something I'm missing to allow Kodi to interface with the si4703 board? I know it's working correctly because the rotary dials both work correctly when I'm fully outside of Kodi, but not inside.
