Some questions:
1.How can I run it in full-screen?
2.How can I change the keyboard layout language
3.My gps (serial) is working but no inside 7ways app, anything about this?

Thank you!

I was able to install and run 7ways but my GPS doesn't start when the program starts. The GPS works with Navit and is hooked into the usb port..

Navit coding:

# Start gpsd
sudo killall gpsd
#gpsd /dev/ttyAMA0
#gpsd /dev/ttyACM0
gpsd /dev/ttyUSB1

#Start Navit with a low priority
#cd /home/pi.navit_src/build/navi/
sudo killall navit
cd /opt/carpc/navit/navit/
./navit &

I modified the code for 7ways:

# Start gpsd
sudo killall gpsd
#gpsd /dev/ttyAMA0
#gpsd /dev/ttyACM0
gpsd /dev/ttyUSB1

#Start 7ways with a low priority
sudo killall 7ways
cd /opt/carpc/7ways/
./7ways &

Do I need to add or modify anything to get the GPS working with 7ways? Thanks.

Hello! Maybe someone solve problem with fullscreen in 7ways? When I run 7ways from terminal, everything is ok, but if it done by StartCarPC script it has a bar on top of the window...

I also got this to run, except for the gps at the moment (which i will solve later).
Only problem i have is that the maps you can get seem to be total rubbish, i tried 3 streets in Amsterdam the netherlands and none of them existed...

I also looked into converting OSM to use with 7ways but that seems to be no option.
If anyone has a good source for maps for this i would love to hear it, the program itself seems much better then navit.

Yes, maps are not the best, but hey, the program surely looks and works better than Navit.

I've played a little with this on my windows pc but right off the bat I can see a potential problem. I live in Nevada, USA and the map seems very incomplete. California looks ok, but also not very complete. Mainly wanting to try this out because I'm having trouble with figuring out how to use Navit. Do these programs work better in the UK?
