New Version (2.0.6) online

Small bugfix

Awsome all working fine now!!

Howk, maybe you can create a "startup station" to change a default 106.7mhz start radio... I know is hardcoded in compiled version but, I can't send radio commands in terminal, maybe you had so more close about this FM and codes to change this!

thank you again!

This started out as a question but since I figured it out I updated.....

it is possible to set the default (startup) radio station and volume like this

Create a python script in /opt/carpc/startup named radio_config.py

Code:
import socket
import threading
import time

# need a delay here. tuned to minimize time on startup freq. If too short
# will be skipped over, too long you here noise until re-tunes.
time.sleep(4.4)

UDP_IP = "127.0.0.1"
UDP_PORT = 5005

sock =socket.socket(socket.AF_INET, socket.SOCK_DGRAM)

# choose desired freq which is 89.5MHz in my case
sock.sendto("radio_tune_" + "89.5" + "\0", (UDP_IP, UDP_PORT))
# turn down volume
sock.sendto("radio_volume_minus", (UDP_IP, UDP_PORT))
sock.sendto("radio_volume_minus", (UDP_IP, UDP_PORT))
sock.sendto("radio_volume_minus", (UDP_IP, UDP_PORT))
sock.sendto("radio_volume_minus", (UDP_IP, UDP_PORT))
sock.sendto("radio_volume_minus", (UDP_IP, UDP_PORT))
sock.sendto("radio_volume_minus", (UDP_IP, UDP_PORT))
sock.sendto("radio_volume_minus", (UDP_IP, UDP_PORT))
sock.sendto("radio_volume_minus", (UDP_IP, UDP_PORT))
sock.close()

Then add this to the end of /opt/carpc/startup/StartCarPC_stage2

Code:
# Set Radio freq and vol
sudo python radio_config.py
